I've been passionate about health and fitness for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a place that was an outdoor enthusiast's dream. I could walk out my back door and go hiking, mountain biking, downhill skiing and pretty much anything else that you can do outdoors. In addition, I played team sports in school and college. I decided that because these things were so much a part of my life already, I would try to help others to enjoy physical activity as much as I do. I have been an athletic trainer and recently became a certified personal trainer. I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I do know a little something about being healthy and keeping your body young and active. I started this blog because I wanted to share my ideas with anyone who would like to know a little more about health and fitness -- and my hope is that through your comments, discussions will be had, and lifestyles can be improved. If I've motivated even just one person to make a change, I'll feel like I have succeeded. So, go be that one person.
